mTree is part of the consortium implementing the RESTORE project, co-financed under the STRATEGMED program (Prevention and Treatment of Civilization Diseases) by the National Center for Research and Development (NCBiR). RESTORE assumes the design and implementation of an innovative cardiac telerehabilitation system conducted not only in specialized medical centers but above all at the patient’s home. RESTORE’s main goal is to demonstrate the possibility of reducing the number of deaths and facilitating the quick recovery and full professional activity of patients after the completed interventional or surgical treatment of coronary disease. These goals are achievable thanks to the combination of early cardiac rehabilitation with long-term home telerehabilitation.
The telerehabilitation system and the goals mentioned above are implemented in a randomized, multicentre clinical trial conducted in clinical centers of American Heart of Poland S.A. and at the Dolnoslaski Szpital Specjalistyczny in Wrocław (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT03375944).
